Last night, I had every intention of writing this post ahead of time so it could land in your inbox at 6 AM sharp.
But then my sweet Ella curled up next to me, locked eyes, and hit play on Baby Shark.
Game over.
She hates when I try to work on my computer while we’re hanging out. And honestly? I wasn’t about to miss that moment.
Because I know these moments won’t last forever.
The Reminder That Hit Me (Hard)
Back in December, I went on a golf trip to Scottsdale. Laura and I had worked out the plan, but I forgot to consult Ella—and when I got back?
The cold shoulder. For nearly a month.
It stung. But it also made me double down.
More “dates” after daycare. More focused time together. More showing up instead of just being present.
And it worked.
Hence the Baby Shark cuddle session last night—I earned that moment, and I wasn’t going to waste it.
So What Does This Have to Do with Fitness?
Fitness is just like this.
If you put in the effort consistently—even when you don’t see instant results—eventually, you get rewarded.
✅ Maybe it’s moving without pain.
✅ Maybe it’s feeling strong again.
✅ Maybe it’s simply knowing you did something good for yourself.
But if you put it off?
Life keeps moving, and those missed opportunities add up.

“I wanted to improve my strength and stability – especially for my knees! The team is very encouraging and keeps working to get me stronger. So far, I have been able to improve my pushups, learn how to deadlift, and most importantly, gain better control of my body.”
