Ella’s birthday is in November. And like most two-year-olds, she got spoiled with presents.
Fast forward a few weeks to Christmas, and guess what?
Presents under the tree meant one thing to Ella—they were all hers.
She wasn’t totally wrong. About 90% of them were for her. But trying to explain the concept of sharing to a two-year-old is… well, you can imagine.
So, we did the logical thing.
We made her Ella the Elf. 🎁
She took her “job” very seriously—pulling out each present, opening it, and delivering it to the right person.
(With breaks, of course, when she opened something epic—like the superhero cape and Spidey plush doll her dad totally nailed.)
The only hiccup?
Our dog Buddy got some new tennis balls… and Ella loves tennis balls.
So why am I telling you this?
Because fitness should work exactly the same way.
Instead of forcing some rigid plan that doesn’t fit your life (and makes you miserable), we lean into where you are right now.
I don’t believe in cookie-cutter programs. When clients come to me, I don’t squeeze them into my system. I design the system to fit them.
👉 Here’s exactly how I approach personalized training for adults over 50.
Right now, I’m working with a long-time client who broke their arm. They’re over 70 and can’t get up and down off the ground.
So guess what? Their program doesn’t include getting up and down off the ground.
And it works.
👉 If you’ve had surgeries…
👉 If you’re on medications…
👉 If you’re working around aches, pains, or injuries…
I can help.
We build the plan around you.
Start From Where You Are—Not Where You Think You Should Be
Whether you’re recovering from injury, restarting after a layoff, or just tired of trying to “keep up,” I’ll meet you exactly where you are. If you’re in Central Austin and over 50, I’ll build a plan around your reality—not someone else’s expectation.
Need some momentum first? Here are a few good places to begin:

“Nate is hands down the best trainer I’ve worked with! He customizes the workout plan to my needs and wants and adjusts for my lifestyle as it adapts. He meets me where I’m at and goes with that pace.”
