I still remember something one of my first baseball coaches told us.
He gathered everybody around and said something to the effect of:
“I know we’re all here to have fun.
I like having fun too.
I just know I have a lot more fun when I win.
So let’s have some fun…
But while we’re doing it, let’s make sure we’re working hard on the right things that help us win.”
I still think about that to this day.
Because I ain’t never met a single person who said:
“You know what?
I had more fun losing.”
Outside of maybe the Aztec era.
(And if you get that joke, you’re my kind of person.)
Anyway…
“Have fun” is literally one of the three things I ask from every client.
And I’m serious about it.
I want you to laugh.
I want you to enjoy coming to the studio.
I want you to like the people you’re training with.
I want this to be something you actually look forward to doing.
But I also ask you to be consistent.
Because just like that baseball team…
We’re here to have fun.
But we’re also here to win.
And winning requires consistently working on the right things.
Fortunately…
I think winning is a lot more fun.
Having Fun Is Good. Getting Stronger Is Better.
Look…
I want you to enjoy your workouts.
I want you to laugh, like the people you’re training with, and actually look forward to walking into the studio.
But we’re not getting together several times a week just to have a pleasant hour.
We’re here to win.
And after 50, winning means getting stronger, moving better, staying capable, and being able to keep doing the things you want to do for as long as possible.
That requires more than motivation.
It requires showing up consistently…
And consistently doing the right things.
That’s exactly what my 12-Week Get Stronger and Live Longer Program is designed to help you do.
No bootcamps.
No burpees.
No random workouts designed to leave you exhausted just so you feel like you accomplished something.
Just smart, progressive strength training built specifically for adults over 50.

Have fun.
Enjoy training.
Like the people you’re doing it with.
But don’t forget why you’re there.
We’re playing to win.
