H2O is the chemical formula for water.
The thing that makes life possible.
H2O2?
Hydrogen peroxide.
I would strongly recommend you don’t drink, swim or bathe in that stuff.
One little 2.
Very different outcome.
Fitness can be like that.
Sometimes the difference between something helping you and something hurting you isn’t the exercise.
It’s the dose.
A little more weight.
A few more reps.
A little more range of motion.
One more set.
None of those sound like huge changes.
But small differences can make a BIG difference.
Especially when you’re trying to get stronger without getting hurt.
The Exercise May Not Be the Problem. The Dose May Be.
Here’s the frustrating part about strength training after 50:
You can choose a perfectly good exercise…
…and still get the wrong result.
Too much weight. Too many reps. Too much range of motion. Too many sets. Too much, too soon.
The difference between getting stronger and getting irritated, beat up or sidelined can be surprisingly small.
That’s exactly why my personal training program for adults over 50 doesn’t hand you a generic workout and tell you to work harder.
I manage the little decisions for you:
- Which exercises make sense for your body
- How much weight you should use
- When to add reps
- How much range of motion you’ve earned
- When to push forward
- And just as importantly, when to back off
Because more isn’t better. Better is better.

If every workout keeps getting harder, eventually your body sends you the bill.
Here’s why deliberately backing off can actually help you make more progress.
Why Most Over-50 Fitness Programs Fail You
More range of motion isn’t automatically better. More exercise isn’t automatically
better either. Your program needs to fit the body you actually have.
