When someone comes to me concerned about bone density…
Obviously, we’d love to see their numbers improve.
But I’m not training their DEXA scan.
I’m training THEM.
I want stronger legs.
A stronger grip.
Better balance.
More power.
More confidence getting off the floor.
The ability to catch yourself when you stumble.
And enough strength that everyday life doesn’t constantly push you toward your limits.
Because ultimately…
The goal isn’t to have an impressive number on a piece of paper.
The goal is to build a body that’s harder to break.
Want Better Bone Density? Don’t Just Train the Number.
Here’s the mistake:
You get a DEXA scan.
You see a number you don’t like.
And suddenly the entire goal becomes fixing the number.
But you’re not a DEXA scan.
You need stronger legs. Better balance. More power. A stronger grip. And enough physical reserve that a staircase, a stumble, a heavy suitcase or getting off the floor doesn’t feel like a major event.
The real goal is simple: build a body that’s harder to break.
That’s exactly what my personal training program for adults over 50 in Austin is designed to help you do — with personalized strength training built around your body, your starting point and your injury history.
Not Ready for Coaching Yet?
Fine. Don’t buy anything until you’re convinced.
But don’t confuse “I’m still researching” with doing nothing. If bone density is on your mind, start here:
- Power Training for Bone Density After 50 — why strength alone isn’t the entire bone-health equation.
- The Smallest Effective Dose for Better Bone Density After 50 — why you don’t need to live in the gym to give your bones a reason to adapt.
- Can You Deadlift With Low Bone Density After 50? — how I think about loading, strength and risk instead of automatically avoiding weights.
- Why Strength Training Matters for Bone Health After 50 — because bones need a reason to stay strong.
Read first. Think second. Decide third.
But whatever you do, don’t spend the next year merely watching the numbers. Build the stronger person behind them.
