A few times a week, I take Ella to the park after daycare. It’s our little escape—just the two of us. No screens. No distractions. Just some good old-fashioned slide climbing (the wrong way, of course), swings, and barefoot curiosity.
And I’ll be honest… it wears her out.
Which means when we get home, she’s more than happy to crash on the couch with Spidey and Friends while I cook dinner and tackle the dishes.
The Bike That Was Almost Perfect
Last week, she saw another kid on a bike and immediately wanted one. So, being a dad in the 21st century, I pulled out my phone and ordered one right there in the parking lot. Amazon. Overnight. Boom.
The next day I picked her up, popped the trunk, and showed her the surprise.
She squealed, hugged the bike, and insisted on riding it immediately.
Which would’ve been great—if her legs were one inch longer.
So now I’m half-wrangling a squirmy toddler, half-carrying a brand-new bike, trying to make the plan still happen.
We finally made it up the hill. I crouched down, ready to help her take her first ride…
…and she pointed at the curb and said, “Balance beam!” like the bike never even existed.
When Plans Don’t Go as Planned
That moment—arms full, kid flailing, plan collapsing—is what fitness feels like for most people.
You know what to do.
You just need help pulling it off.
Maybe you’ve felt that way, too—juggling life, work, workouts, aches, routines that don’t stick… all while wondering if you’re even moving in the right direction.
That’s Where I Come In
I help my clients carry the load.
You don’t have to guess what to do. You don’t have to stress if you’re doing it right.
You just show up.
I handle the rest.
That’s how my clients over 50 are getting stronger, more mobile, and doing things they never thought they’d do again.
Ready to stop feeling stuck and start seeing real results?
If you’re in Central Austin and tired of plans that don’t stick or routines that don’t fit, I can help you get unstuck. One small shift is often all it takes to start building momentum—and confidence—for good.
