I play this admittedly stupid game on my iPhone called Survival Z.
Started as something to do while I was in “my office”…
or waiting in line for daycare pickup.
Just mindless.
Swipe left and right.
Tap to smash zombies.
That was it.
Then I realized…
if you actually want to advance in the game, there’s a whole other side to it.
Strategy.
Resources.
Timing.
Stuff you can completely ignore…
but if you do, you’ll never really progress.
At one point, some random guy attacked me.
I defended it pretty well…
and he messaged me after.
Gave me a few tips.
I tried them.
They worked.
So I messaged him back.
“Thanks coach.”
He gave me a few more.
I tried those too.
“Thanks coach.”
Four months later…
I’m still playing that stupid game.
And somehow sitting just outside the top 10.
Free account and all.
Which probably says more about me than I’d like to admit…
But it reminded me of something.
How you do one thing…
is usually how you do everything.
Here’s the Part Most People Miss…
Reading is good. Thinking is good. Getting fired up is good.
But none of that changes your body unless you put a real plan behind it.
That’s where most people get stuck. They do the easy part. They read another article. Save another workout. Promise themselves they’ll “start Monday.”
Then Monday comes, and nothing changes.
If you’re over 50 and you want to get stronger, move better, and stop worrying about every little ache turning into a bigger problem, then you don’t need more random fitness information.
You need a smart plan built for your body, your age, and your real life.
