I’ve got a client in his mid-70s who didn’t start working out until his 60s.
He moves better now than he did at 50.
Still plays golf. Still gets on the floor with the grandkids.
And when he flies, he lifts his own luggage overhead without blinking.
But here’s what I always think about:
What if he had started ten years earlier?
Or twenty?
The thing is, most of my clients are in their 60s or 70s.
But I tend to market to folks in their 50s.
Here’s why.
It’s like compound interest.
If you invest $1 at 18, by retirement that $1 might grow into $88.
Wait until your 40s? You’re looking at $3 or $4.
In your 60s? You’re better off in low-risk stuff like CDs or bonds.
But it’s absolutely still worth it.
Warren Buffett made more money after turning 60 than he did in all the decades before.
But that was only possible because he started investing at age 12.
It’s the same with your health: the earlier you start, the more it compounds.
But even if you’re late to the game—it’s still a game worth playing.
And unlike investing, fitness pays off right away.
Sometimes one workout is all it takes to sleep better, breathe deeper, or just feel more alive.
That’s a huge return—right now.
I know it can be hard to take that first step—especially if it’s been a while. But just like compound interest, the sooner you start, the bigger the payoff. And I’ve got something to make it easier:
