Here’s something you might not know about me: I used to play the snare drum back in 6th grade.
Our music class had a system—every week, we could “challenge” someone a few chairs ahead of us, performing the same piece of music. If you won, you swapped places.
I started in the back row, and week by week, I climbed the ranks. By the time I moved to a new town, I’d reached 3rd chair and was gearing up to challenge for 1st.
Here’s the thing: Progress didn’t come from some huge leap.
It came from consistently practicing, improving bit by bit, and trusting the process.
And fitness? It works the same way.
You don’t need to overhaul your entire life overnight. It’s about small, steady steps:
- Adding a little more weight each week.
- Improving your form one rep at a time.
- Building consistency that compounds into results
