Knee pain is super common as we age but it doesn’t have to be.
Some simple exercises can get rid of most people’s knee pain almost immediately, leaving them saying something along the lines of “I should have done this years ago!”
If you can carve out thirty minutes to an hour two to three times a week, then odds are that this routine will help you out:
*Foam Roll Quadriceps and Hip Flexors: About five minutes total.
*Dead Bugs w/ Core Engaged: Five per side.
*Glute Bridge: Get the glutes engaged (feel the burn) and THEN do ten reps for three to five-second holds each.
*Marching Glute Bridge: Ten per side.
*RFE Hip Flexor Mob OR Band Resisted Hip Flexor Mob: I like both and switch between them in programs on a regular basis. About thirty seconds to one minute per side of either exercise will be just fine.
Repeat these exercises as a circuit for three to four rounds and then test out whatever activity was causing the pain before. Most people see a dramatic reduction in pain on the retest.
And, if you have questions on any of the exercises or can’t perform them for some reason, then just send me a message and I’ll do what I can within reason to help you out.
Stay fit,
Nate
