“Normal” aging isn’t normal.
Joint pain preventing you from walking good, getting winded easy and having more pills than a gumball machine has gum.
It just doesn’t have to be that way.
24 Hours A Day.
7 Days A Week.
365 Days A Year.
Our body is always deciding – get younger or get older.
The process itself happens on autopilot; old cells dying and new ones being born to replace them – but the decision on whether those new cells are stronger and more resilient or weaker and diseased is up to you.
Yes, you.
If we feed our body Netflix and Pop-Tarts then we will be rewarded with soft, weak muscles and a pantry filled with pills.
If we feed our bodies strength training, an abundance of other physical activities and real, wholesome foods then the reward shall be a ‘nearly’ eternal fountain of youth – doing what you want, when you want because you want. Your body will not hold you back.
And, with a retirement age of 65 and the average life-expectancy around 79 years young as of this writing that means a couple of decades of awesomeness instead of spending the last third of your life in pain…and Doctor’s Offices.
The choice is yours.
As Red from the Shawshank Redemption summed it up: “You can get busy living or get busy dying.”
Train Smart.
You Got This,
