First, an interesting study.
Ball State University in Indiana conducted a study of participants broken into two groups of ten men for a twelve-week strength training program.
From the beginning, the groups were evenly matched and they all did the an exercise routine with the same rest and same frequency.
One group gained 32% more upper-body strength and 47% more lower-body strength.
The only difference was that the more successful group had a personal trainer watching over their workouts.
But here is what is AMAZING.
Both groups had the same exercise routine – so the only role of the Personal Trainer was Motivation and Confidence!
Participants that chose to lift heavier weights and push themselves harder than the group that were left to exercise alone.
Now, add in that a good Personal Trainer also helps design a great program, can teach you about nutrition and work around injuries. You bet your butt that if you are serious and want the Best Result Possible, you should hire a Personal Trainer.
And I know I’m biased….
