“I have been eating the oatmeal with flavors lately but I was told it is better to get regular oatmeal and just add honey to it.
However, the honey has more calories and sugar than the pre-flavored oatmeal I am currently eat. What should I do?”
As always “it depends”.
If trying to be “perfect” means that you are no longer eating your email because you find the task too laborious then just stick with what your doing.
Perfection is the enemy of good enough.
However if you have the time and can take an extra step to eat “real food” then that is the way to go.
Even though the real food option may have more calories you will actually absorb and utilize more calories.
The “fake sugar” option generally just goes to your waistline while real food can be utilized for energy.
So in the end go for real food even if it is higher calorie UNLESS you find the extra step just too troublesome and need the faster option.
