“When I began training I was hoping to increase my core and leg strength as well as feel and look better. However, I was concerned about beginning because my right knee is bone-on-bone and I wasn’t sure if I would be able to get up and down. I was also concerned about all the young people I would be working out in the gym with because I am a frumpy middle aged woman, guess you can call it vanity. Since I began training with Nate I have indeed increased the strength of my core and legs.
I also do feel and look better! I was very comfortable with Nate’s approach and his ability to customize a workout for me. He listened to me and my concerns and developed a program that in only 3 months are benefitting me, such as going up and down stairs with little effort. The gym is small, clean, and centrally located in Austin with all age groups which I love. I don’t like the big box gyms that are so impersonal. Nate is gifted at keeping you engaged in working out and I can honestly say that I look forward to working out. I always feel better afterwards, I can say that exercise does indeed change your mood.
Nate’s approach is one that is welcoming, he listens, develops a plan especially for you and he encourages you throughout your session. He makes sure that you are doing each movement correctly to avoid injuries and encourages you to let him know if something doesn’t feel right. Most importantly, he is very knowledgeable and he continues to learn daily and share information with you about issues you are working on.”
