How to meal plan as a single person with a variable schedule

How do you meal plan when you are single and have a variable schedule?

Simple.

I don’t see the difference between being single or in a relationship when it comes to meal planning.

You still need to plan and bulk cook.

In fact I would find it easier to only have to prepare food for myself and not consider what the other household members may want to eat.

As far as a variable schedule goes; I guess it depends on what you mean.

Is it a split shift sort of scenario?

Thats what I do…….

Early on Monday, Wednesday, Friday.

Late on Tuesday and Thursday.

Here planning things out is just the same…..

However, if you mean I may have to stay at work for 4 hours longer than I thought or work through my lunch break then your best bet is “zero prep” foods.

Think nuts, deli meat, fruits, etc.

Things that quite literally are already prepared and all you need to do is consume.

Bring these items to work each day and you should be all set!
