I love my clients because they are all “over-achievers”.
If I say ten to twelve reps, they always do twelve.
When I say two or three rounds they almost always do three.
And that is probably why I get asked regularly what else should I be doing to get the best result possible.
Luckily there is an actual answer to this – not just philosophy 😉
Thirty minutes of moderate to vigorous exercise five times a week can cut your risk of dying from things like diabetes, strokes, or heart attacks in half.
And, as mentioned in other writings, these benefits can start after a single workout – even ten minutes!
Now, that begs the question, “how should these workouts be structured?”
For my clients, we do strength training three times a week.
Get in your 10,000 steps Every. Single. Day. (as soon as you are capable).
And that’s about it…
So if you want to live longer, enjoy life, and reap the benefits of pain reduction, muscle tone, and living independently – start today.
