I was hesistant to begin weight training and doing cardio work because I abhor sweating and working out ever since two-a-days from my high school football days in Schulenbrug, Texas. I also had some serious reservations about the cost of hiring a private trainer and working out twice a week, especially since I don’t hae a job and my family would be responsible for paying for this. Finally it had been YEARS since I was on a consistent workout regien, so I had serious doubts about wheter I would be successful in this new phase of my fitness life!
Nedu greatly helped me because we started out slow and I didn’t sweat nearly as much as I thought I would, plus I quickly realized that this was a far cry from the summer heat of football practice!!
Secondly, the cost was way more affordable that I thought it would be and my parents turned out to be behind me 1000%, immediately stressing that my health and fitness level comes first in life. Money is way less important tha phyical, mental, and emotional health!!!
Alos, I was in considerably better shape than I thought I would be in, so the workouts have been successful.
My top 3 goals when I started this new chapter of my life were:
- Lose a lot of weight so I an get down to my target weight of 230 lbs.
- Greatly increase my muscle tone and become more attractive and interesting to people
- Try my absolute hardest to get rid of my Type 2 Diabetes thourhg dietary changes and dramatic weight loss
So far I have had the amazing and drastic weight loss of 35+ pounds, adding a great deal of muscle tone and lowering my blood pressure and bad cholesterol levels. Additionally I have significantly lowered my once abnormal resting heart rate to a very normal resting heart rate.
I am SO SO SO happy and proud to be a part of Stowe Training Systems and to become fitter and healthier every single day!!!
